The blog is back! I’ve been working on both my
Western comic (link up on the roof) and my crime
series, so I’ll be playing catch up a bit.
For today, some inking practice with a master…
I call this piece ‘Ohmu God!’
Y’see, cuz, the bug behind Nausicaa is, I mean,
it’s called an ohmu…So, that’s, the um…fuck it.
Bonus piece of art this week, done last night for
my niece.
Ain’t never had a Serk like me.
No better way to close out DOTS week than with a
terrible, terrible pun.
And so it is.
Come on down to serkotron.com, we’ll have ourselves
a time…
Ah, you’re already here. Well then. Let’s, uh, have
ourselves a time? …. You dig Sabbath?
After two posts of nothing but skulls, today’s post
features…a skull.
Balls.
One of these variants is more than meets the eye,
while the other has risen up from the depths of
R’lyeh.
‘I want your skuuuuuull
I NEED your skuuuuuuull’
Dude, it’s right there, in the window. How can you
not see it?
I had the ending to ‘Citizen Kane’ spoiled by an
episode of the Real Ghostbusters cartoon.
Really, Egon, no spoiler alert?
After taking a few months off to work on the comic,
the site is BACK!
Back in the Village…
What is really left to say about Breaking Bad?
Not much, so I’ll just let this piece chill here.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything new, so
here’s a piece I worked up a few days ago.
Nikki’s the Pale Rider today.
After this weekend’s blogfest about how she came to
be, I felt it appropriate to start the week off with a
brand new pin-up of the Feisty Freckled Fighter.
The history of my webcomic ‘Somewhere in the West’
continues. When we last left off, there was a name, a
title, a hair color, some freckles and a new direction.
Let’s fuckin’ do this.
Back in 2004, I created a character to use in a short
animation for a class. Nine years later, I finally made
a comic featuring said character and launched it…
This is the story of Somewhere in the West.
Go beyond…
Making up for forgetting to post yesterday, here is the
second pic for today.
Yes, that IS a giant rhino-man standing there behind
her.
Whenever you think that Marceline is mean, just
remember: she’s not mean, she’s a thousand years
old and just lost track of her moral code.
Why just post ONE intellectual property from the 80s
when you can post TWO?
These specific renderings are, as I refer to them, the
‘College Years’ version of Rainbow and Strawberry.
You can run on for a long time
You can run on for a long time
You can run on for a long time
Sooner or later
Ron’ll cut ya down Go beyond…

Today’s X-citing post features two members of the
franchise my brother-in-law referred to as ‘Those
science fiction movies about the mutants.’
Let’s get it Spawn. Bring it Spawn. Bring it Spawn 2:
Never Too Late to Violate. Spawn Deadly Ground.
Today’s post is from around November 2010. For
those of you familiar with Neil Gaiman’s comic series
‘The Sandman’, you probably recognize Death here.
What happens when Captain America throws his
mighty shield? I’ve heard tell all those who oppose
said shield must yield.
Lookit all that orange. You’ve never seen concrete
break into a perfect giant four? Pfft. I bet you’ve never
even seen a giant orange rocky superhero either.
Green Lantern here was, I believe, the first drawing I
did when I got my Intuos4 tablet in July 2010. Done in
Photoshop.
Howdy everyone, welcome to hell my new webpage.
I’m Serk. I draw stuff, I write stuff, and this here site
is where I’ll be posting a lil bit of both.
